Coffs Online was established to highlight local issues that many people just don't realize the extent of in their own town. Due to many busy lifestyles these days people don't always get to see what's happening around them in their own towns so this is what Coffs Online does. I present this information in varied formats from written stories, videos and photos. The stories aren't made up and they're real usually with the photo evidence backing up each news story.
Coffs Harbour has been and is being let down badly by the local system of council that no longer sufficiently and economically serves the community well. Our town lacks direction and good facilities for the young and old alike and many people are going without things because of this. Am I being hard on the council and the system? Yes.
We pay very high rates and get very little in return and our town is in debt from gross mismanagement by the council system and the people that run it. Our rates and services in many cases are double or more than that of other towns and regions and yet no one speaks up. Good town managers provide good services but Coffs Harbour is lacking in so many areas. We don't get a fair value for our rates and taxes.
· Our town has over polluted streets and waterways.
· Many of our streets don't have sealed footpaths and gutters.
· Many of our streets are poorly lit at night.
· Our overall infrastructure is poor and lacking.
· Facilities for children are poor.
· Poor tourism and employment.
And the list is extensive and it comes down to a guiding direction that our town has lacked for decades. If the issues aren't brought out into the open for people to see then there's no accountability and the situation just continues on as it has done for years. People have been blinded by political and local rhetoric from councillors and politicians that haven't done their best jobs for the people that they represent. As publisher of this site I'll bring every matter I can to the peoples attention to at least provide some level of accountability. I make no apologies for being abrupt or for the way I present each story as Coffs Harbour deserves much better. It may seem like a one man crusade but what other options are there after decades of neglect and misdirection.
As part of Coffs Online I try and show what Coffs Harbour does have to offer. We have one of the most diverse areas in the world in regards to weather, nature and natural surroundings. There's a lot to see and experience in Coffs Harbour. Some people have no doubt lived here for many years and many wouldn't have even seen a fraction of what there is to see. I've produced hundreds of videos from Coffs Harbour so please take the time to view at least some.
We have some pretty remarkable wildlife and nature, beautiful beaches. nature walks to die for and a climate the rest of the world would exchange at any day of the week. And yet many people just don't take the time to experience all there is to see. Life is too short to take everything around us for granted.
Our council plans decades ahead but they use that as a cop out because they can't manage the here and now period.
Just Get Today Right And The Future Will Fall Into Place.

Most of the community work I do these days is free of charge promoting and assisting different levels of the community in all manner of ways. I choose to use the Internet as a tool to accomplish much of this work but there's also a lot of physical work also involved behind the scenes to produce these different levels of assistance. For instance producing Australian Pictorials requires me to travel extensively at my own costs to film town by town on foot street by street. Often wearing out a pair of shoes on each trip and already having extensively filmed some 1,000 Australian Towns CBD's to help promote them.
Sorry I no longer do the free unsolved murder cases as its too expensive and time consuming for me to do those now. ( I never charged to do those cases like that in the past.). I'm getting older now so I have to slow down too.
I no longer perform and do live free or paid shows (I'm Johnny B) as I've retired now and only do the Internet work I choose to do.
